About Audiobook in a Card

Spiracle is a new, British based audiobook e-commerce platform available on web and mobile app. We launched in 2022 to make an ever better haven for book lovers and an independent platform for publishers of original writing to reach the audiobook market.

Our newest initiative, Audiobook in a Card is a simple, but pioneering scheme in which we make audiobooks available in the form of ‘physical’ cards for sale in bookshops across Britain. 

Each card contains a QR card and a unique code, activated at the point of sale in the bookshop.

Audiobook in a Card puts the book back into audiobooks and audiobooks back in the bookshop. In this real world, “brick and mortar” environment audiobooks can be discovered by book lovers as recommended by booksellers, circumnavigating the bestseller bias of the online marketplace algorithm.
